"Blizzard Adventure"

I guess I am going to find out just how spoiled I am by my husband. He is away and the "blizzard" has begun! Generally he is the one to clean up after storms. After all he has equipment and operates it quite well might I add. The equipment (skidloader) is sitting in the driveway and before he left I asked if I could run it and his answer.............. "you better not." Point taken. A driveway can easily be broken and lifted by the equipment and since my experience with a loader is minimal at best............... I won't take any chances. So this morning I trekked to the shed to discover he took one of our 2 shovels. Now I have two boys and I do not intend on shoveling our long drive on my own. I did however manage to unearth an antique snow blower of electric origin. So off I shuffled through the current 18 inches to the other shed out back to find he had taken 2 of our 3 long extension cords. So I am now severly limited to how far I can travel with the blower. Oh well a few less shovel fulls. Only time will tell, how much snow and how strong my back is! :) I did travel to a local hardware store early this morning to claim one of the few shovels left in stock. At least there were some left! Now at least I have two shovels........ one for each of my two boys!!!!!!! :) :) :) I am ever so grateful for all my husband does and maybe I need this to be a little more thankful! Now if only the electric will stay on because we will have no heat if not...... and bursting pipes are not my area of expertise either! Thinking positive! Bring on the snow, it is so beautiful to watch!
